Revolver Brewery Tour

Published on: Jun 04 2014 by admin

Revolver Brewing is technically not in Dallas or Fort Worth but is close enough to Fort Worth that I have made the trek down there several times. about 30 minutes South of Fort Worth out on several acres you will find Revolver Brewing. There is plenty of parking out there. It is $10 for a pint glass and 4 generous 8oz pours. They usually have their main 3 on tap as well as maybe 1 or 2 seasonal beers. The main ones is the crowd favorite Blood & Honey, High Brass and my favorite Revolver Bock. Seasonal beers include a stout and a beer called the Mullet Cutter.

There is plenty of room to sit but if you get there a little late you might want to bring your own chairs. Dogs are not allowed but children are. There is plenty of room for them to roam and play without getting into the brewery. There is a water table that kids can play on and feel free to bring your own toys. Good for parents who need a drink but do not want to spend $40 on a sitter while your are at it. People with kids need to drink too. Probably more than people without kids.

There is always a band playing in the back of the brewery. There is always some sort of BBQ served out there. There is also horse shoes and giant Jenga. During the parts of the year when Texas is cold they have big fire pits out there to keep warm by and heating lamps up on the patio. The beer lines always go quickly. Even at their 1st anniversary party I barely waited a minute before I had another refreshing beverage in my had. So if you don’t mind the drive head on down to Grandbury and check out Revolver brewery. After the tour maybe check out down town Granbury or check out the beach at Granbury Lake.
