Panther Island Brewery

Published on: Jan 20 2015 by admin

Panther Island Brewery located just north of the Court House up main across Trinity River. It’s in the building that used to say Texas Beer Company. Now the building has another chance to brew the fine cold nectar for Texas once more. They are Fort Worth’s 4th brewery to open up in the last couple of years. I have to say I’ve been looking forward to them finally opening up for a while. It think I first sampled Panther then Wahoo Brewing at Brewed a couple of Falls ago. They were giving out free pours of Allergeez and IPf’nA. Then They were pouring at Sunday Fundays last summer at Sunday Fundays. So finally every Friday night if I have a sitter I can go enjoy Panther Island beer anytime now.

Instead of having just two beers they have 4 now. Boom a blonde ale and Cannonball a scotch ale. They also have Straw banging blonde that they used to give out when they were on 121 and Wahoo brewing, I’m glad to see that made the rotation. So if you looking for something to do on a Friday night come on out. They have music and food trucks. It’s a diverse crowd low key crowd. If you like the Martin House or Rahr atmosphere you will like Panther Island. While they could probably benefit from a couple of picnic tables inside I sit all day so I don’t mind standing around talking and having a good pint.
