Lakewood Brewery tour

Published on: Jun 13 2014 by admin

Lakewood brewery is a little ways east of Dallas. Originally tried to find a location but after having problems finding a place landed in Lakewood. It is a ways from Fort Worth so when they do offer special brews only at the tour it is a bit of drive. If you do however you will not be disappointed. For $10 you get 4 8oz pours of the regular and seasonal or the occasional specialty brew. The Temptress is one of my favorites especially one of it’s offshoots the raspberry temptress.

There is plenty of parking at Lakewood brewery. It is located in an industrial park and the business are closed on the weekend freeing up the rest of the parking. When you first walk in there is a nice tap room area. From there you can venture on back to where all the brewing equipment is. There you can mill around or enjoy some of the food trucks outside. The owner has kids so it is not a big deal to have little ones with you. Bring back your previous tour glass to get a $1 off the tour or show your military id to get $1 off as well. Tour starts at 12 so get there early to take advantage of the 4 generous pours. Remember after 2 it’s only two pours.
