Deep Ellum brewery tour Dallas Texas

Love Runs deep at Deep Ellum Brewery and so does the list of good beers

Deep Ellum Brewery tour is one of my favorite tours out there. I prefer the Thursday night tours because one it’s usually cooler at night in Texas than mid day. It’s also more laid back and easier to find a place to sit. another favorite of mine is that on Thursday nights you will sometimes get a special firkin tapped. It might be a firkin of Double Brown Stout with ancho chillies, or holy mole brew or the Dallas Blonde with experimental hops. This is on top of their regular offerings which now include Dream Crusher the delicious double ipa. Dream Crusher is one of my personal favorites along with my go to double brown stout.

There is always a food truck there and a band on stage. If you want a good seat to see the band get there early as they tend to be taken up rather quickly. If the seats are full there is still plenty or room inside and outside of the brewery around the beer garden. I wouldn’t say this is the best kid friendly brewery out there as there is not a lot of room for little ones to move about as they do like there is at Martin House or Rahr but I don’t think that is the crowd they cater to. If you are single or childless for the evening I recommend it and it’s in deep ellum so after the tour you can walk to any number of restaurants in the area. Twisted Root or Cane Rosso are right around the corner.

Also keep an out of for special events and tap takeovers that the brewery host. Two of my favorite events are their annual Brew BQ and the home brew Labor of Love. The latter event a winner is chosen and their brew will be produced the following year. So follow them on facebook to keep up with all the events and new beer releases.
