Zio Carlo

Published on: Jun 13 2014 by admin

Zio Carlo is a brewpub on Magnolia street  in Fort Worth. This place has real potential. The shop is an old renovated dry cleaners. It’s not pretentious and has a decent selection of guest beers on taps. Their own brews are hit or miss. I recommend the Roman Empire or the Amypalooza which I thought was not only a good Zio Carlo beer but a good one over all. It has really come along way since it has split the ownership 3 ways after the owner tried to commit commercial suicide on twitter. Still don’t expect any pleasantries from him as you are frequenting his establishment. The rest of the workers are quite nice and the other owners have brought a little life to the place. It now has weekly events such as pint nights and release parties.

They do make their own pizza and have expanded the menu to include sandwiches now. They are open at 12 so come on by for a pint and a sandwich to break up your work day.
