The Bearded Eel The Stout

Published on: Jan 08 2015 by admin

The Bearded Eel The Stout. Having a job and kids to feed I like to enjoy the beer to go whenever possible. So latest fill was The Stout by Bearded Eel Brewery out of Fort Worth. Loving all the new breweries in Fort Worth now. Seemed like Dallas was getting breweries on an exponential scale compared to Funky Town. Anyway The Stout is a Russian Imperial Stout. I already like stouts and since it is really cold now and do celebrate all the earthquakes I got me a growler fill. This big boy weighs in at 10% ABV. It is very drinkable. I didn’t find it to boozy at all. Maybe I’m just an alcoholic though. It came through very chocolate and malty to me. It smells like roasted chocolate malts. Like all beers of this style it pours really dark. Of Course I’d be worried if I got an Imperial stout and it was piss colored. It taste as dark and delicious as it looks. I recommend this one. You are in north Fort Worth you can visit them in the hours and at the address listed below.
